Here’s a Coffee Bread Pudding recipe from our 1st prize winner for the Webber x Henimaria #BakewithCoffee Contest!
Ingredients:
- 5pc of White Bread, shredded
- 700ml of warm Liquid Milk
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2tsp Vanilla Essence
- 100g Sugar
- 50g Margarine, melted
- 1-2 tbsp Instant Coffee Powder (according to preference)
- Almond Slice (according to preference)
- Chocolate Chips (according to preference)
- Grated Cheese (according to preference)
- Milo Powder (according to preference)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 160°C
- Mix the Milk with Sugar, stir until the Sugar dissolves
- Mix this mixture with the Eggs, Vanilla Essence, Margarine and Coffee Powder
- Take a bowl (heat-resistant container) or aluminum foil container
- Add the shredded bread and mix with some of the milk mixture, wait until it sets
- Sprinkle Grated Cheese, Chocolate Chips and Milo Powder
- Arrange the bread on top, pour in the remaining Milk mixture
- Sprinkle Grated Cheese, Almond Slice, and Milo Powder again
- Bake for 30 minutes
- Serve while warm or cold
