Here’s another recipe from our 1st prize winner for the Webber x Henimaria #BakewithCoffee Contest, featuring a Melon Pan recipe this time!
Ingredients:
Part A:
- 34g Butter
- 50g Sugar
- 1 Egg, beaten
- 114g All-purpose Flour, sifted
Part B:
- 250g Low Protein Flour
- 40g Granulated Sugar
- 1 Egg, beaten
- 40ml Liquid Milk
- 70ml Cold Water
- 6g Instant Yeast
- 50g Butter
- 6g Salt
Directions:
Part A:
- Whisk Butter until smooth
- Add Sugar, beat until pale
- Add Egg and Flour, beat until well blended
- Wrap the dough with plastic and store in the freezer
Part B:
- Preheat the oven to 190’C
- Mix Flour, Instant Yeast, Sugar, Liquid Milk, Eggs and Cold Water, mix until well blended
- Add Butter and Salt, mix until smooth
- Cover the dough with a cloth
- Let the dough stand for 1 hour until it rises to twice its size
- After 1 hour, flatten the dough and cut it into 10 equal pieces, roll each piece into a ball
- Take 1 ball of dough, flatten it
- Smear the top with sugar, then cut it with a knife
- Arrange on a baking sheet with some distance from one another (because it will expand)
- Cover with a cloth, let stand 30 minutes in a warm place
- Bake for 15 minutes
- Remove from oven, let it cool before serving.
