A soft and bite-sized cupcake is perfect for a tea-break! Here’s a recipe on how to bake your own ones, you can even change it up a little by adding your own flavors to it.
Ingredients:
Cupcake:
- 250g Sugar
- 120g Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 150ml Milk
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
Butter Cream: (for 3 batches of cupcakes above)
- 1000g Unsalted Butter
- 2 tablespoons Vanilla Extract
- 2 tablespoons Milk
- 400g Refined Sugar
- Sufficient Food Coloring
Directions:
- For Cupcake, preheat the oven to 180°C
- Beat Butter, Sugar and Vanilla Extract until fluffy
- Add in the Eggs, beat again until fluffy and well-blended
- Sieve the Flour and Baking Powder. Add these ingredients alternately with Milk and mix using a mixer
- Pour batter into the Cupcake mold
- Bake in oven for 180°C for 25-30 minutes
- Remove the Cupcake from the oven and let it cool
- For Butter Cream, beat the Unsalted Butter with Icing Sugar
- Add Vanilla and Milk, mix well until fluffy and white
- Top the Cupcake with the Butter Cream
